Peter Chianca has been a newspaper journalist since 1992, following an ill-advised stint in textbook publishing. Please don't ask him about it because he still gets cold sweats.
His humor column has appeared in some form ever since that time, and began running weekly in North Shore Sunday -- at that time Massachusetts' largest circulation weekly newspaper, back when circulation meant something --in February of 1998.
It's since appeared in the Boston Herald (the 36th largest newspaper, by circulation, in the country -- we looked it up), several editions of the Quincy Patriot Ledger and the Metro West Daily News, and in Gatehouse Media newspapers and websites nationwide. That includes Nevada.
Peter lives on the North Shore of Massachusetts with his wife and two children, four dogs and three cats, and his hobbies include trying to get more sleep and ... well, that's it.
